Global Social Benefit Incubator

Santa Clara University holds a two week Global Social Benefit Incubator "boot camp" each summer in California. The event assists social entrepreneurs to develop scalable business plans. Kiva co-founder and CEO Matt Flannery attended the event in 2006 and said it was the first time he felt he was part of the global community of social entrepreneurs.

Application deadlines for the August 19-31, 2008 event are soon approaching:

  1. Target Market (Beneficiary) Statement (due January 22, 2008)
  2. Value Proposition (due February 5, 2008)
  3. Definition of a Business Model (due February 26, 2008)
